Solo III

I’ve been using my solo 3 for about two weeks now and it’s amazing! I’ve used a couple different dry herb vapes before and none of them compare to this. I hope it lasts for a few years.

I have been impressed with this device from the get go. I had previously used the Air max and was enjoying using that as my daily driver, however, after seeing a review from someone mentioning some great things about this device I managed to get hold of one. This is now my every day carry, and I am extremely happy with it so far. The XL stems are awesome and the WPA’s that are included in the box are brilliant if you like to filter your experience through water or cool it for easier inhalation. The adjustable and accurate temperature controls make it easier to make sure you are vaporising all of those valuable terpenes and not boiling them off before you can get their benefits. Making it an ideal device for medial consumption, as I can tailor my experience with the temperature to match my symptoms at the time. I think out of the three devices I have at present, two being Arizer products, this is indeed my favourite so far. It’s portable, yet powerful and has a great quality of flavour and vapour too. Brilliant stuff guys, I can’t wait to see what products you come out with next.

Probably the best thing about this vaporizer is the precise temperature controls, which is everything, in vaporizer technology. With three pre-set temperatures that you can change any time by single degrees, you can dial in your perfect temperature, which will not be the same for everyone. I think it is funny that in most promotions for the product, the emphasis seems to be on what big clouds this device can produce. Certainly you can use this device and puff big clouds if that’s what you’re looking for. I think some people consider that 180° C is the floor, with 200° a typical operating temperature. But I think that 180° is way above the ceiling. The most efficient way to take vapor is at the lowest effective setting. Heat just destroys all of the active compounds, so the trick is to tease off the vapors at a low enough temperature that all vitality of the vapor is retained, but impurities are minimized.
Variations in “botanical material” will have different ideal temperatures, but I find that a setting of 165° C is plenty hot enough to release vapor, without all those “big clouds.” At these temperatures, you get the cleanest vapor imaginable. I appreciate the ceramic heating element and the glass stem, so there is no plastic anywhere, and no oven fuming. It is far more powerful than it needs to be – a junior version that retains all the heating design features and software at lower temperatures and a smaller battery might be nice for someone who is “out and about” and wants a handy vaporizer in his shirt pocket, but I like this product just the way it is. I even like the green color of the case. The best yet.
