Since most of the residue stays in the glass stems, cleaning is as simple as soaking the glass in isopropyl alcohol. No complicated parts or deep scrubbing needed on the unit itself. Like any quality gadget with batteries and circuits, treating it with care – being mindful of drops and especially keeping any liquids away from the main body – is key to ensuring it lasts for years. It heats up quickly, delivers fantastic flavor thanks to the glass path, and it’s just consistently great for day-to-day use. This is my daily go-to tool for herb. Nothing else compares. The simplicity of the design is perfect. There is almost no maintenance required. The device is rock-solid, every day, all day, year after year. I own two of them, and I keep one plugged in all the time. I just rotate them when I need a fresh battery. As someone who has been using this device for many years, I recommend three temperature settings: 380°, take a bunch of puffs. Then 400°, more puffs. Finally, 420°, and finish the bowl. This device is remarkably efficient, and you will find that you will use much less herb to get great results with this. I LOVE my Arizer Solo devices.
